steppin out on faith could have you
nose diving off a cliff into the uncertainty of oblivion
not steppin out could leave you sitting comfortably
surrounded by gift boxes filled with nothing but tissue paper
taking a chance requires balls bigger than the ones designed to strengthen your core
and the ability to look fear in the face before turning around to
give it your ass to kiss
there are no guarantees except
you'll be different when you land
if sameness alone isn't scary enough to make you jump
you deserve to be mired as you are
wings will grow through quicksand
if you will it so
spread them and take a dive
