Shoe Personality of the Week: 02/22/10

If this was posted yesterday, like it's supposed to be, the appropriate opener would be:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! (& T.A. & M.S-G. & C.M.)

So, the shoe is self explanatory:
It's a sell-a-BRAYSHUN, BITCHES!!

I DO feel as shiny as this shoe. I remember being younger & hearing folks whining about turning 30. I was never scurred. & here I am now, a hot young 35 & still keeping it fresh & new. This birthday has been an exciting reconnection with old friends, new ones puttin it down for me & with me (except when you tried to pimp me with the security guards...you know you was wrong for that, Girl), & friends who've never wavered to continue standing planted firmly in my corner.

There are new people here & I'm determined to appreciate their presence for as long as it lasts. & I certainly won't lose 'em in the dark as long as I got on my birthday shoes. So, I'm taking my old folks, my new folks, & the spirit of celebration out into the streets. As N.T. says, it's MY New Year! & it's time to get it in in 2010.
